The Full Story
The Nest Markets grew from everyday life in the Illawarra - running a local butcher shop, raising a family here, and being part of a community that has always supported us in return. Over the years, we saw firsthand how important local producers, small businesses and community connection are to the fabric of this region. The markets came from a simple desire: to give something meaningful back and create spaces where that connection could grow even stronger.
We didn’t want markets that felt generic or transactional. We wanted places that felt personal where you know the faces behind the stall, where kids can run around safely, where local creativity is celebrated, and where every visit feels a little bit different, but equally special.
